Ditton Wine Traders buy and sell fine wine.

As simple as that. Top end fine wine. At the very lowest prices.

Ditton Wine Traders are exactly that, wine traders. Buying and selling fine (and rare) wine on a daily basis at a fair and competitive price is key to our business. We do everything to make sure we keep our cost base down. We do not have a “bricks and mortar” shop – we sell wine online and use good old email and telephone. We don’t employ a lot of staff and we don’t have a fancy office. Our business model is buying and selling the very well known wines at low margins and high volume, without having to provide the (costly) information that is required to sell lesser known products.

That’s why we can operate on a lower margin than most wine merchants. And our large and diverse network of wineries, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and private individuals means we can find and bring you deals that are hard to match. We specialize in French wine, mainly red Bordeaux Cru Classe. 

We have established an excellent reputation with the trade and with private customers for being able to offer large quantities of the most sought after wines at very sharp prices. More importantly, we have many customers that return not just because of that but because we are reliable – we deliver on our promises.

Most of our business is with other wine merchants. Some of the prices you see can only be achieved when buying and selling in large quantities. However – we do also sell to the public when a minimum of £250 is ordered. This enables everybody, not just the trade, to buy the best fine wine at wholesale prices.
