Graham's 1952 Single Harvest Tawny Port

We are very pleased to offer a special limited edition bottling of Graham's 1952 Single Harvest Tawny Port. Released in 2012, it was bottled to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We have managed to secure a small parcel of this and we thought it would be a fantastic addition to your Christmas drinking or for a special present.

Tawny Ports are normally a blend of an average age (i.e. 10 Year Old, 20 Year Old, etc) so it is rare to see a single vintage tawny and even rarer to see one which has been aged for 60 years before bottling.

Jancis Robinson MW tried it on release and wrote the following: 'I absolutely love this style of port, a long aged colheita (the sort of thing that houses like Niepoort have specialised in), when it's good and this one is very, very good.'

To Commemorate the Diamond Jubliee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

'Walnuts, dried citrus peel, prunes, an edge of parmesan. With such a long time spent in cask (six in all, if I understood correctly), it is of course pale tawny with pale greenish rim and is rancio-issimo, but it is incredibly heady and rich without any sort of meagre skinniness.' Jancis Robinson MW, May 2012

The bottles will be available for delivery in 3-4 weeks. Please note delivery charges will apply.

E&OE October 2015.

Pol Roger 2008

The 2008 vintage for Champagne is exceptionally good and has been eagerly awaited. According to Richard Juhlin 2008 is “an absolutely gorgeous vintage that has it all. I have a hard time imagining anything other than buying everything you see of this vintage."

Opus One

The release of Opus One every year is always exciting as it is such a popular wine globally. First produced in 1979 by Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, it has become perhaps the most well-known and popular Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine to come out of the Napa Valley.

Domaine Leflaive

Domaine Leflaive has been producing some of the finest white wines from the best vineyards in Burgundy for decades. It is always a pleasure to drink their wines as they have an inimitable spicy character which makes them not only unique in Burgundy, but in the world as well.

Du Tertre

A beautiful summer's day like today is not normally the best time to offer red Bordeaux but we thought this opportunity was too good to miss. We have just secured some Château du Tertre, Margaux 2009 which we can offer at less than £30 per bottle on the table. It is not often we come across well-scored, 2009 classed growth Margaux at anywhere near this price so please find below the offer:

Château du Tertre, Margaux 2009 - £274.40 IB per case of 12 bottles

2012 Sassicaia

We are pleased to offer the brilliant Sassicaia 2012, at what we believe is the best price in the market.

The 2012 vintage has just been scored 99 out of a 100 by the Wine Enthousiast, surpassing the legendary 2004, 2008 and 2010.

9 cases of 6x75cl Sassicaia 2012 at £480 per case in bond.

2005 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904

As you probably know by now, we are huge fans of La Rioja Alta so we are extremely pleased to offer the latest and perhaps best vintage ever of La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904: the 2005.

The 2005 is a great successor to the 2004 and 2001 which were both very popular indeed. The 2005 vintage might just have the edge on the two former vintages but it is very hard to compare, with each vintage having its own personality.
